    Practice Schedule

    • Pool practices begin in June. Currently, the pool is scheduled to open after school is out, but we are working with City Officials to try to get it open earlier. We are hoping to have some after school practices early season, and will update as we know more this Spring.
    • Practice will be held at the Columbia Falls city pool - Pinewood Aquatic Center - 925 4th Ave W, Columbia Falls, MT 59912
    • Once the city pool is open, practices will run between 6:00 AM - 9:45 AM Monday through Friday.  The coaching staff will assign practice slots to each swimmer based on ability, staffing numbers and what they feel best benefits the swimmer.
    • Coach Kyle would like to see your swimmers as much as possible during the entire season. Typically, he likes to build on 3-4 days per week and move throughout the summer to 4-5 days per week by the end. Be sure to check with Kyle on his expectations for your swimmer. Please note:  most of the skill work is done at the beginning of the summer and then they work on endurance. See the practice outline below for more information.
    • Practice Times:
      • Group 1: 6:00 AM- 8:00 AM
      • Group 2: 8:00 AM- 9:45 AM
      • All swimmers must be picked up by 9:50 AM.
    • Practice for any swimmer not attending Divisional and State Meets will end on July 17, 2026. Coaches will be focusing on the athletes attending the post-season meets at this time.
