Swimmership
The CFST Swimmership program launched in 2016 to alleviate some of the participation costs to families who need assistance.
We are very excited to offer this opportunity. These season Swimmerships are made possible by a generous donation from the Woodhouse Family Foundation designated specifically for scholarships. Requests can include registration costs, pool pass fees, suit costs and/or gear (cap & goggles) expenses. Awards may be whole or partial based on available funds and number of applicants. The CFST Board of Directors will review all Swimmership applications. Swimmerships will be granted based on financial need.
Swimmership Participation Guidelines
- Swimmer must be eligible to compete in the Montana Federation of Swimmers program as specified by the Montana Federation Bylaws (Article V. Sec. 300 & 400).
- Swimmer must commit to competing in at least two regular season swim meets prior to Divisionals. Attending those meets will require some travel. Camping is available on site at most away meets.
- Swim family must complete at least 40 hours of volunteer time. There are many opportunities to accomplish this goal. We will provide a volunteer sign-up schedule at our season kick off.
- Individual Swimmerships for registration cannot be combined with waived registration earned via fundraising campaigns. However, if there is an additional swimmer in the family that did not earn a waived registration, that individual may qualify for Swimmership funds.
Please complete the following Swimmership Application to apply for a Swimmership award. There is a section to be completed by the swimmer(s). Please have them provide this statement in their own words. Parents are welcome to type for their younger children. Personal information will not be released and used only for Swimmership award determination. Award recipients will not be publicly announced for privacy purposes.
